Massimo Rigaglia lives and works in Milan, and founded his studio in 2023.

With an open and multidisciplinary approach, it develops projects by favoring minimal and pragmatic solutions.

The observation of social behaviors and phenomena, of environmental changes, of artisanal but also industrial production techniques, the manipulation of materials, used consciously and with respect, the development of a certain design awareness, conducting research starting from the consequences as well as from the needs, the historiographical investigation of archetypes, sometimes re-editable through the use of new materials and forms, with the aim of grasping configurations more suited to our time, all these themes, and others that aggregate over time, like an unstoppable and continuously evolving process, sensitize his activity, always placing man at the center in relation to the places he inhabits.

His work is also characterized by an expressive coherence made of elementary, simple, light gestures, applications of extreme simplification and reduction in design as well as production, that simplicity necessary to try to understand what triggers objective and pragmatic design motivations.
